Dr. Cherri Hoyden
Dr. Cherri Hoyden founded Hearing Specialty Center in 2008 with a vision to provide more personalized, patient-centered hearing care than she felt was possible in a large medical system. Frustrated by the limitations that often come with institutional healthcare, she was driven to create a space where clinical excellence and genuine compassion could coexist — and where each patient’s unique hearing journey could be truly honored.
Over the years, Dr. Hoyden built a thriving, trusted practice in the heart of Kirkland. Her integrity and commitment to exceptional care earned her the respect of both patients and peers. For more than a decade, she has been helping individuals reconnect with the sounds and moments that bring life meaning.

In 2025, after nearly two decades of leadership, Dr. Hoyden transitioned ownership of Hearing Specialty Center to Dr. Ashley Al-Izzi. While stepping back from the business side, she continues to see patients full-time.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Hoyden enjoys traveling the world with her husband, Ed, often seeking out exciting and exotic destinations. She also treasures time spent closer to home with her large and lively family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who keep her smiling and busy.
